  • Hey Barry, this is a great collection you got yourself there, I am impressed! It is very nice to see someone take pride in Vintage Audio. I am buying TWO BEAUTIFUL MCINTOSH MC-30 AMPLIFIERS AMPS and JBL C36 African Mahogany Mid 50s Cabs w 075/D130/N2600 for my friend in Russia. I also need to find a QUAD II for him as well. It looks like you have one in your collection that is in a very good condition. If you dont please help me to find one in a very good working and cosmetical condition at a fair price. You can e-mail me at dima1000@hotmail.com and please cc him at irasochi@mail.ru . Thanks in Advance. From Russia with love. Dmitri

  • Great collection..I need to return to spend lots more time admiring all you have. I am just stunned with the 'Tower Castle Speaker'...that is such a work of art.. I hope you might be able to expand on the description...when it was made, how much it sold for, where you got it, has it been restored...thanks for a super site... Regards, KH

  • Hi..Since you have such a wonderful collection I wondered if you could help me find any information on a relative who was very involved with numerous audio invention working for several large companies including Columbia Phonography. I have posted a copy of his obituary at this site : http://community.webshots.com/user/soonie46 in the album named E Norton Obit. Please contact me at cusoon42@yahoo.com if you can help me. Many thanks. C Norton

  • Hi Barry, Greetings from Prague, Czech Republic. A friend of mine stumbled across your collection and forwarded the link to me. It's really fantastic! I especially like the early 20's battery sets. I have one vintage Fischer 501 Tube amp that is coupled with a special turntable for playing 78s and Edison diamond discs if you happen to know what they are. I also have one 1923 Stromberg Carlson battery set that is pretty neat but most of my collecting starts about 1895 and ends about 1915. I don't have all my collection posted but you can see quite a bit of it at www.bojo.cz/phonograph if you are interested. Cheers, Bruce
